Muller Martini Promotes Andy Fetherman to Vice President of Sales and Technology

Werner Naegeli, President and CEO of Muller Martini North America, announced the promotion of Andy Fetherman to the newly created position of Vice President of Sales and Technology, effective July 1, 2016.  He replaces Vice President of Sales, Carrington Herbert, who is retiring.

¡°This is a well-deserved promotion,¡± remarked Naegeli. ¡°Andy is a familiar face to our customers and is known throughout our industry as a technology innovator and proponent of digital manufacturing solutions. In this new position, they can continue to count on Andy¡¯s vision, expertise and dedication to championing customer-focused solutions that meet their particular finishing challenges and objectives.¡±

In addition to overseeing and supporting Muller Martini¡¯s North American sales team and product specialists, Fetherman will leverage his digital knowledge across Muller Martini¡¯s entire portfolio of finishing technologies, as well as its internal sales process. He commented, ¡°Sales development is more technical than ever before. Most of today¡¯s systems are technology based, providing an unparalleled ability to both collect and analyze data. So bringing my digital knowledge and experience to this new role should provide some added value as well.¡±

Fetherman holds a Bachelor of Engineering Degree in Electrical Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology, as well as an MBA in Executive Management from St. John¡¯s University. He brings more than 30 years¡¯ experience within the graphic arts industry, beginning his career in 1986. He then became a U.S. Electrical Engineer for Heidelberg in 1989. He has been with Muller Martini since 1994, when he started as a Product Manager in the Press Division. For the past 15 years, Andy has been spearheading the development of digital finishing systems for print providers worldwide, most recently as Muller¡¯s Director of Digital Solutions.
